With the forthcoming trip to San Antonio for TMEA coming up soon, I've been spending a lot more time hunkered down and cranking out the work to get ready. I've kind of settled into a routine of getting up, having breakfast, going for a walk, then getting back to the BnB to get to work, putting in long hours. From the past couple days, not a lot of new and exciting things to talk about, but here are some of the highlights... My daily adventures and walkabouts usually include grocery shopping to replenish whatever I might need back at the BnB. During today's walk, I needed bread. Rather than buying the mass-produced commercial stuff in the grocery store, I decided to look up local bakeries. I found a little shop called Gruziniška Duona, run by an old Georgian woman - it was just her, in the bakery, cranking out bread and selling it. I got two different loaves of bread (which had the taste and feel of pizza crust), plus a dessert and a little walking snack (basically a waffle cone, rolled up).
