Marsch du Soldaten (Full Digital Set)
As a long-time history buff and an Army Reservist, I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for the military and military history. Over my Christmas break from school on year, I had watched a special on World War II that showed troops marching through the snow-covered countryside of France. With this image in mind, I went to work on this piece of music.
The piece is meant to give your students the sense of what those troops went through, going through the long, hard march through the snow, through the countryside. This is really communicated through the minor mode of the piece, which will excite your students with a new sound, and give you a great teaching tool for learning how to play other tonalities of music.
This digital pack includes PDFs of a full score, parts, and an XML file to import in SmartMusic or Musescore for digital use of your students.
